Upon arriving at Maxine's current location, you both have a brief conversation. Maxine states that she's been looking for the "narrative lens", a window between worlds, hidden between fiction and reality. Before Maxine leaves, you mention if she believes in time travel. After she leaves, you head to sleep, only to find Maxine in under your bed in the morning, investigating your claims of time travel.

Coming to the conclusion that you lied, you convince her otherwise, and in exchange for wasting her time, she requires some of yours. Returning to the school and meeting Maxine in the computer classroom, Maxine's "project" is to connect to the cyberspace. Due to her mistrust in computers, she plans to use herself to connect to the internet. In order to pull this off, she needs a laboratory power supply. Passing the time, you speak with Lindsey, and upon her request for her water bottle that she forgot in the locker room, Maxine interrupts her statement by reminding her of a watermelon she was supposed to deliver.

Fed up with Maxine, you decide to take a walk outside and sip on some strawberry juice, until you hear something. Isabelle appears shortly after, stating that she needed a stroll to clear her head. During your conversation, you watch as Maxine counts paces on a map to a treasure chest. Isabelle leaves shortly after, and you aid Maxine in the acquisition of a locked box had you not already dug it up in [[Buried Truths]]. After Maxine runs away, you head home and get some shuteye once again.

Heading to school in the morning, you're immediately greeted by the Guard, who orders all students to be in the cafeteria. No questions asked. Upon entering, you're greeted by a paranoid Jo, who states that there's been a break-in and that some equipment has been stolen from the science classroom. After asking why everyone needs to be in the cafeteria, Jo states that the students need to be interviewed, but doesn't want to involve the police as this could just be a simple prank. After Jo walks away, you can either pass the time by speaking with the girls, or skip an hour, in which its your turn to be questioned, returning to the Clubroom afterwards.

Maxine then presents the power supply, and moves to the desk to show an assortment of items. After licking the power supply's end for better conductivity, she drops her pants and sticks the end in her butt. Asking for assistance, you tie her up with a cable, stick a slice of watermelon in her mouth, and place the VR Headset on her face. After a couple of shocks, Maxine will be exhausted, but state that she's seen the other side and that someone is watching at this very moment. You then take Maxine to the Nurse's Office to get some rest.
